RedHat Summit
If you like to watch technical video's in the Linux - Unix space, then you should check out this link from the recent RedHat Summit in Boston. There are a number of videos from Redhat President Jim Whitehurst, along with others from RedHat and IBM that are worth checking out.
I considered going, however I was at the Enterprise 2.0 conference last week and attended the Network World IT Roadmap conference on the 18th, so I could not work it in. At the same time, I have really become an Ubuntu fanboy in the last 9 months, finding Ubuntu great for that second desktop in the Corporate environment. Our support environment is primarily Redhat Enterprise 4 & 5, with a fair number of Solaris backend database servers, so there is a real need to ssh into many servers, and Ubuntu gives me a native Linux environment to get my work done. RedHat Enterprise 4 & 5 has proven to be very stable and great for our production environments, however I found Fedora to be a little too big and slow for a Desktop OS, especially when running it as a second OS in a virtual VM.
Anyway, check out what RedHat is up to at the recent RedHat Summit.
